Movie Night September 3rd
Join us September 3rd at 6:30pm at the Douglas Flat Community Center for a screening of “Tending the Wild” a PBS documentary focusing on the indigenous cultures of California who have been maintaining the landscape with fire for thousands of years. Snacks and Drinks Provided. This movie night is detacated to remembering the lives of John Trinkl and Bruce Giudici, two EPFW legends that we lost this past month. We hope to see you there.

The Douglas Flat School House is back on the ground an we will hold our first movie night of the season Thursday May 7th at 6:30pm We will be showing “Inside the LA Firestorm” by PBS followed by a discussion on Home Hardening. They released beavers into a wasteland... then this happened.
Beavers are amazing creatures and this documentary proves it! They do amazing work for free. They could restore sierra meadows and create a more fire resilient forest. We need beaver to be reintroduced into our watersheds.
